Sublimation Printing
Dye Sublimation printing is a full color, full coverage printing technique. Yout artwork is printed onto a sheet of special paper and transfered onto your apparel using heat, time, and pressure. The dye particles convert to a gas where they bond to polyester fibers. Unlike screen printing, the dye is absorbed by the fabric for a fantastic, soft-to-the-touch feel.
Each item is unique and will vary from shirt to shirt. Expect to have smudges or white lines next to the seams, as well as the creases near the edges. It is common and expected for gapping to occur under the armpits and on seams.
